Eagerly The short version: nothing is sent to us.
Eagerly Earn has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The camera counts exercises on your child's device, and no picture or video is ever saved or sent. Your family's settings and progress stay on your devices and in your family's own iCloud. This website counts visits with Cloudflare's cookie-free analytics.
Who we are
Eagerly Earn is made by Eagerly Apps LLC ("we", "us"), a company in Massachusetts, USA. This policy covers the Eagerly Earn app for iPhone and iPad and this website. If you have a question about it, write to support@eagerlyapps.com.
Information we collect
None from the app. Eagerly Earn does not collect, send or share personal information or usage data, from children or from grown-ups. It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or other third-party code, and we have no servers that receive app data.
On the App Store, Eagerly Earn is listed as "Data Not Collected", and its privacy manifest declares no tracking.
The camera
During an exercise round, the app uses the front camera and Apple's Vision framework to find body positions, such as shoulders, hips and knees, and to count reps. This happens on the device. Each camera picture is held in memory only for the moment it takes to measure it, then dropped. The app never saves photos or video, never sends them anywhere, and doesn't recognize faces or who someone is. The camera is on only while a round is open.
Screen Time
A grown-up approves Eagerly Earn with Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). The apps and websites you choose to lock are kept by Apple as private tokens: the app can lock and show them, but it can't read their names or see what your child does in them. Screen Time usage shown in the app is drawn by Apple's system and never leaves Apple's protected area of the device. We don't use Screen Time information for advertising, analytics or any purpose other than your family's own limits.
What the app keeps on the device
To work, the app saves a few things on the device itself. We never see them.
- Your child's first name, if a grown-up types one in, so the app can say hi
- Your rules: locked apps, limits, locked times, reps and minutes for each move, and switches such as No jumping
- Earned and used minutes, rounds, streaks, badges and the "My moves" history
- Choices such as language, look and sounds
- The grown-up PIN, stored only as a scrambled code (a hash) in the device's Keychain
Your family's iCloud
If a grown-up connects their own iPhone, your rules, your child's name, progress and bonus minutes are shared between the two devices through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit sharing). This data sits in your child's own iCloud storage and is shared only with the people you invite. We can't open it. Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud. The app's data on the device is also included in your normal device backups.
Face ID, notifications and voice
- Face ID is checked by Apple. The app only learns yes or no; face data never leaves Apple's Secure Enclave.
- Notifications and the Live Activity (minutes left on the Lock Screen) are made on the device. No push service of ours is involved.
- The coach voice and rep bell use the voice built into the iPhone or iPad, on the device.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and handled by Apple. We never receive your name, payment details or Apple Account. Apple only tells the app whether a trial or subscription is active.
Children's privacy
Eagerly Earn is set up and controlled by a grown-up, and used by children. We do not collect personal information from children, so there is nothing for us to share, sell or disclose. We built it this way with children's privacy laws in mind, such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR. The links in the app to this website, the subscription and email to us are inside the grown-ups area, behind the PIN or Face ID.
If you write to us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and we use it only to answer you. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your message. Ask us any time and we'll delete it.
This website
This website has no cookies, ads, trackers, forms or accounts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn't identify you and doesn't follow you to other sites; we only see totals. The app itself has no analytics.
Deleting your family's data
- Deleting Eagerly Earn from a device deletes the app's data on that device. Keychain items, such as the grown-up PIN, stay until the device is erased.
- To delete the shared iCloud data, open Settings, tap your child's name (or your own on your iPhone), then iCloud, storage, Eagerly Earn, and delete its data.
- Data in older device backups stays there until those backups are replaced or deleted.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete, but we're happy to help with any request under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Changes to this policy
This policy describes the app as it works today. If a future version changes how information is handled, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released. We will never sell your family's information or use it for advertising.
